The evaluation is used primarily to tell us where you are physically so we can determine the level of intensity to start your program. A good evaluation can set you on the right path to success. A major flaw in exercise programs is that there’s not enough time spent on the front end teaching the facts, otherwise you will repeat the same mistake over and over, and you will began a cookie cutter program. By doing an evaluation, you have a better insight into what is fact, what is myth and what is going to work best for you.
The evaluation will consist of the following:
Flexibility – This is a hidden essential, and it is important to know because it strengthens the body, helps recovery time and improves range of motion.
Strength – The better your strength levels, the more efficient your body can become. However, strength without flexibility can be a dangerous combination in terms of injury.
Endurance – Putting your cardiovascular system to the test, we will understand different levels of intensity that you should work.
Remember your heart is a muscle. Like any other muscle, it shouldn't be neglected. Endurance can help recovery time when working out at different levels.
Lean Tissue to Fat Ratio – This test can solve most of our problem as a community and society. The more lean tissue you have, the more efficient your system becomes and the more fat we can burn. We perform this test on a bi-weekly and sometimes weekly basis to hold you more accountable.
